Terms of Service

Last updated: August 20, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using ABWatcher (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What we provide

ABWatcher monitors publicly-accessible pages of a curated set of companies, detects A/B tests and CRO patterns on those pages, and provides you with reports, analysis, and (at your option) test suggestions for pages you own. The specific capabilities available to you depend on your plan tier.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service beyond what applicable law permits.
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent plan-tier restrictions, rate limits, or paywalls.
  • Use the Service to build, train, or improve a competing product.
  • Scrape, cache, or redistribute the Service's output in bulk without a written agreement.
  • Add sites you do not own or have permission to monitor to the “tracked sites” surface.
  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or infringe the rights of any third party.
  • Attempt to disrupt or overload our infrastructure.

5. Content and data

Your data. You retain ownership of any data you submit (site URLs, workspace configuration, comments). You grant us a limited license to store and process it in order to provide the Service.

Our data. We retain all rights in the Service, including detections, analyses, gems, and test plans we generate. Under your subscription you may view, export (where enabled), and internally share this output. You may not resell it or expose it as a public product.

Third-party content. The Service surfaces information about publicly visible pages of third-party companies. We do our best to present this information accurately and neutrally. If you believe content we surface about you or your company is inaccurate or should be removed, email takedown@abwatcher.com. We will respond within 10 business days.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis by Dodo Payments on our behalf. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel from Settings → Billing. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.

We may change plan pricing on renewal. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email so you can cancel before the change takes effect.

7. Trial

New workspaces receive a 7-day Pro trial. No card is required. When the trial ends, the workspace is automatically downgraded to the Free plan; nothing is charged. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time before or after the trial ends.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if you fail to pay after a reasonable notice period, or if we are legally required to. You may cancel your subscription and delete your workspace at any time from Settings.

9. Availability, warranty, liability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee any specific uptime. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ireland, unless local consumer-protection law grants you different rights.

12. Contact
